Delegation from Chiang Mai University, Thailand and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam paid a courtesy visit to President Saito
On January 28, 2020, young researchers from Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University (CMU), Thailand and School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam paid a courtesy visit to President Saito.
This visit is supported by Sakura Science Plan, Japan Science and Technology Agency, for which Prof. Matsuda, School of Sustainable Design applied.
University of Toyama (UT) has concluded a university-level agreement with CMU and HUST and the academic exchanges such as holding international conferences and exchanges of students and researchers has been carried continuously on the field of Material Design.
In a welcome address at the courtesy visit, President Saito said that Aluminum research is UT’s strength and he expressed the hope that young researches from CMU and HUST will take advantage of this opportunity and come back to study and research at UT.
They will take lectures and technical practices at UT and visit companies in Toyama during their visit to study science and technology of base material (especially Aluminum) for construction of Sustainable Society.
