Nowadays, there has been an increasing number of students who aim to go on to graduate school because not only education and research ?eld such as university but also companies require advanced research skills.Point近年、先端科学技術の発展にともなって、従来の医学、薬学、理学、工学といった個別の分野の研究だけでは対処の難しい課題が増えてきました。これに対応するため、各学問分野の専門性を持ちながらも、各分野を相互に連携させて総合的な視野から複合的分野にアプローチできる人材の育成が求められており、工学部から大学院進学者の内、10％を超える学生が医薬理工学環（右図）へも進学しています。In recent years, many issues are di?cult to resolve just by studying individual ?elds such as medicine, pharmacy, science and engineering, following rapid technological developments. In order to address these issues, there is a need to develop human resources who are not only specialized in individual academic ?elds, but who are also able to cooperate across di?erent ?elds (see chart to the right) and approach multiple ?elds from an interdisciplinary perspective.
